An official displays a white truffle on An official dispalys a 900 grams white truffle with the mother (roots) wich was auctionned for 105-milion-euro on November 14, 2010 during the traditionnal annual truffle auction sale in Alba, northern Italy. The Piemonte region, where Alba is located, is considered to have the best “tartufo bianco” (white truffles) in the world.
